  • An appeal holding the federal government liable for third party contribution to an asbestos manufacturer because it specified the use of asbestos in Navy ships (United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit)
  • An appeal holding that real estate appraisers stated valid claims under the Lanham Act for unfair competition against a company that they engaged to transmit their appraisals to banks (United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit)
  • An appeal holding that Hungarian Holocaust survivors satisfied the requirements of the expropriation exception of the FSIA to state valid claims against the Hungarian State Railroad (United States Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit).
